Dear Jack Quinn, I am pleased to pass on some complement about your services to be included on your proposed web site. Back in 1988 when I had been given a quote on a replacement exhaust system for a 1974 Ford Grin Torsion, I dropped into the newly owned Zoro Discount Muffler. The quote given to me was more competitive than other nearby muffler shops. The job was completed very efficiently and I have been dealing with Zoro ever since. My two sons also bring their vehicles to Zoro. As a member of the Mississauga Region of the Antique & Classic Car Club of Canada, I have recommended Zoro for work on cars of all ages. The club has been more than pleased to endorse Zoro as the place to deal with for mufflers and custom exhaust systems. I know that many of our members have taken advantage of Zoro's excellent service. Zoro's staff has worked on unique exhaust systems from cars from the 1920's, where the original mufflers are part of the car's frame. Zoro even keeps Model A Ford mufflers in stock, ready to install. I came into the Zoro shop today to have a muffler system replaced and wondered, aloud, why I had driven several kilometers to get there, driving past several other competitive muffler shops (Midas and Speedy to name a couple). The answer seems to lie in several areas: competitive pricing, always-available parts and top quality service along with patient explanations to my questions. Dear Mufflerman staff: Yesterday I stopped at your business about 8:45 AM to have a minor problem resolved and came away happy that I again trusted your organization to be fair and honest. Let me back up a second. I was waved into your waiting room when I learned that you open for business at 9:00 AM. While I was waiting for the clock to get to that magical number I read all the letters of commendation posted on your wall, not knowing that I too would be sitting down to let others know of your great service. Promptly at 9:00 I was asked to pull my car into the selected bay. Mike promptly put the car up in the air and asked what was the problem. I showed him a clamp that was just spinning around and told him I thought I needed a new hanger. Mike quickly said no, that it was just a worn out (rusted out) clamp that needed to be replaced and quickly set to work. As Mike was lowering the car I started to head toward the office to settle up, figuring that while the part was insignificant, there would certainly be a labor charge. Mike, sensing what I was heading to do, stopped me and said that there was no charge for today's service, and sent me on my way at 9:09. Wow! Not only was I pleasantly pleased at not having a bill, I was equally happy that the work was accomplished so quickly and I was on my way almost before I knew it. Thank you for the principles you have instilled in your staff in the fair and honest way that you do business. Dear Bob: I visited your location on December 30. I was shocked and amazed at the quality of service I received by your staff. I fully expected to be taken advantage of; I came to you with a foreign car, out of state tags and a deadline. You all did not have the muffler that exactly fit my car, but did explain that you could make one work on the car and it would not cause a problem. Not only was I not raked over the coals, but I got a bargain! Furthermore, the whole process took only 45 minutes. Everyone was incredibly polite and explained everything I needed to know in a way I could understand. No small accomplishment when you're talking to someone who knows nothing about cars. After the terrific service I received from you all, I have recommended your service to all of my family and friends in WNY. I hope my recommendation brings you many more customers. Thanks again. Dear Bob I was out shopping for prices on the repair of my exhaust system on Friday August 1st. I went to three locations: Monroe, Meineke, and Mufflerman. The staff at Monroe was friendly and they looked at my vehicle right away. The price of $257.15 I thought was a little high. I then went to Meineke. After waiting 3 minutes the owner showed up and said: "yeah, can I help you." After I told him I wanted an estimate, he said it would be about 45 minutes before he had an open rack. I said thanks and left. Oh yeah, I noticed he was working on only one car at the time. I then drove in to your place. As I was backing up to park, one of your employees came out and waved me into the bay. He guided me onto the rack and asked what kind of problems I was having. Before I cleared the bay area I was pleasantly greeted by another employee who was just as friendly and helpful as the first one. He asked how I was and told me there was fresh coffee in the waiting room. I then met you, and the friendliness continued. I mentally slapped myself thinking I was still sleeping and this was a dream. But, to my joy, I was totally awake. I poured myself a cup of "fresh'' coffee, and before I could take a second sip, the mechanic was in the waiting room explaining to me what I needed done. Less than 1 minute later you gave me a price, of which I might add was MUCH lower the place with the big blue "M." I was in and out with a great price, a good fresh cup of coffee, and GREAT customer service in less than 5 minutes! I was to say the least very impressed with your entire operation from start to finish. I have NEVER experienced that kind of professionalism in any auto repair shop I've ever dealt with. You and your staff have the total package! Words cannot describe how impressed I am. You have gained a customer for life and I will not hesitate to recommend you to anyone that needs exhaust and or shock work. You and your staff are to be commended for the excellent job you are doing. Service and price are very hard things to find nowadays in ANY business, and all of you are very good at what you do. Thank you very much being a breath of fresh air in what is an otherwise polluted business climate. Please make sure that your employees see this letter, so they know what a great job they are doing. Employees and businesses don't hear those kinds of things much anymore, and they need to know that people DO notice that extra effort. Thanks again Jim Schulte

To the guys at Zoro, I was in on Friday, June 4, with the same day appointment. I want to say you guys were fast, friendly, and very nice. I appreciate your honesty and a job well done. Darren at the counter treated me very nice and gave me the price up front, no hidden cost. He was very friendly and made sure that I was pleased. I will be back and have told others.
